This is a research on the role of images in the creation of the narrative around reconverted industrial spaces and how these narratives shape collective memory and intersect with class dynamics and the politics of image presence.

I used my own pictures of the Maasilo, an event venue in Rotterdam that once was a grain silo, and collage-d them with the few repertoire images that I could find of the building when still in his original function. This process is accompanied by an essay.
